Butcher

THE TYRANT OF THE LAKE

“I love money dearly, for which I would be willing to do anything... Even to throw my children away, assuming I had any!”. Surely, no other phrase could better define the irreparably greedy, cruel and tyrannical character of Captain Butcher, a British officer who has truly well earned the nickname "Butcher", given to him by the unfortunate inhabitants of the American coast of Lake Superior. To achieve his goals, the sad figure uses the rifles of his sailors with equal cynicism as the cannons of the "Destroyer", the invincible armored vessel which in a short time has become the undisputed dominator of the waters of the lake, fueling the separatist ambitions of those who would like to bring the region back under the dominion of the English crown.
