Abramo and Isacco

TWO LIKEABLE RASCALS

Protagonists of an episode unusual for its brevity (only fifteen pages, in issue 12) and for its decidedly humorous tone, Abraham and Isaac are two "nice scoundrels" (a category which, in Zagor's saga, includes many other illustrious examples, and it is enough to mention Trampy, the cheerful trickster). Villains because, undoubtedly, they are: they even manage to imprison Zagor and Chico, a feat achieved by very few real (and much more dangerous) "bad guys". And they're nice for a very simple reason: they're dumb. Well yes: stupidity, treated in the right way, becomes comedy. And when it's double stupidity, the result is irresistible. Alas, Abraham and Isaac end up in jail: and it is truly a shame, for them and for the readers, that they are still there.
