Giulio Camagni

Giulio Camagni

Born in Udine on March 25, 1973, and a Milanese by adoption, Giulio Camagni attended the liceo artistico and went on to graduate in Contemporary History in 1999. At the age of seventeen he made his professional debut drawing a short story for the "Supereroica" series published by Editrice Dardo. In 1997 he arrived in the pages of Carlo Ambrosini's Napoleone. When that title ended, he continued collaborating with the author on Jan Dix, before moving on to Martin Mystere and Dylan Dog. Seeking new avenues of expression, in the late 1990s he began to combine his work as a comics artist with that of a painter.
