Giancarlo Alessandrini (born March 20, 1950, in Jesi) is an Italian comics artist. He made his debut in comics in 1972, soon becoming one of the main contributors to Corriere dei Ragazzi, for which he illustrated scripts by Mino Milani, Alfredo Castelli, Franco Manocchia, and Pier Carpi. He then worked for Alberto Giolitti's studio, producing war stories for the British publisher Fleetway, and in 1980 became a contributor to Il Giornalino.

His collaboration with Sergio Bonelli Editore began in 1977, when he started drawing six episodes of Ken Parker as well as L'Uomo di Chicago for the Un Uomo Un'Avventura series. In April 1982 he drew Gli Uomini in Nero, launching the great adventure of Martin Mystère, of which he is also the cover artist. During the 1990s he contributed to several anthology titles with stories such as L'uomo di Mosca (in Acme's Torpedo) and Anastasia Brown (in L'Eternauta).

In 1992 he received the Yellow Kid as best Italian artist, and the following year a biography of him appeared in the Immagini & Parole series from Tornado Press. In 2006 his Texone, Canyon Colorado, was published, written by Claudio Nizzi.
