Alberto Dal Lago is an Italian illustrator, digital painter and concept artist working chiefly in the fantasy and gaming fields. A graduate of the IED in Milan, he began collaborating with Italian and international publishers in 2005, producing illustration and cover art for clients such as Wizards of the Coast, Paizo Publishing and Privateer Press, and in children's publishing for houses including Mondadori, Piemme and Salani.
He is the long-running official cover artist for the Lone Wolf gamebook series (known in Italy as Lupo Solitario), and more recently has illustrated cards for Marvel Snap. His connection to Sergio Bonelli Editore runs through Dampyr: he contributed to the special Dampyr issue presented at Lucca Comics & Games in 2018 and has served as the official cover artist for the Dampyr Speciale since 2022. In 2022 he received the Drago d'Oro award at the Fantastika biennial. Since 2012 he has taught Digital Illustration and Concept Art at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Padua.
